Regulatory compliance
Why VisionX is legal and compliance framework
VisionX Legal Status
VisionX is a legal service operating within the European Union (EU) and Spain. We are committed to full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Organic Law on Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD) and all applicable national and European laws.
What is VisionX?
VisionX is a search and aggregation platform designed to help researchers, security professionals and authorised personnel identify exposed data in public domains. We operate similarly to search engines, indexing and organising data that is already publicly accessible online. We do not perform or commission any hacking, unauthorised data access or intrusion activities. All information displayed through VisionX has been found on public platforms, forums or repositories where it was already published or distributed.
3Why VisionX is Legal
No data breaches are performed
VisionX does not obtain information through illegal means. We do not hack, steal or access private servers. Our platform only indexes data that has already been publicly published by third parties.
Legal basis for processing
Under Article 6 of the GDPR, VisionX relies on legitimate interest as the legal basis for processing publicly available data, specifically for research, cybersecurity, incident response and fraud prevention purposes. This processing is limited and proportionate to the legitimate purposes described.
Privacy-respectful handling
We are committed to protecting personal data. When identifiers appear, VisionX limits the visibility of sensitive details, offers a process for erasure requests in accordance with Article 17 of the GDPR (Right to erasure), and avoids unnecessary duplication or full download of datasets.
Public domain focus
Our system is designed to index only information that has been made publicly available without circumventing or exploiting protected systems. We operate similarly to major search engines or web archives that catalogue content already visible to the public.
Responsible use
VisionX is intended for use by cybersecurity professionals, law enforcement (upon request), journalists, researchers and compliance officers. Users are expected to operate within the legal limits of their jurisdiction and accept our strict terms of use.
Transparency and accountability
VisionX responds to legitimate data withdrawal or erasure requests, documents processing in line with applicable GDPR obligations (including Article 30 where required by the volume and nature of processing), and cooperates with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) and other competent authorities when appropriate. We welcome contact from data protection officers, researchers and supervisory bodies wishing to better understand our platform.
4Legal Commitment
VisionX operates under strict legal and ethical principles, complying with all applicable regulations in the European Union and Spain. Our commitment is to provide a transparent, responsible and legally compliant service for authorised professionals.
